Greetings again my friends from my little very cold corner of the world. What sort of bad joke is it, one day its 60 then a few days later its 15? What the heck? Right? Oh well, staying home reminding myself baseball starts in just a few months and the sun is coming up a minute earlier everyday( sneaking some science in there on you)! Keeping positive as I shiver.
We had a great time at the monthly open mic comedy night this past Saturday at Louie's thanks to the folks from Limaland Comedy.They have a few shows book for next month, one at The Platinum Ultra Club downtown Lima and one scheduled at MILANO CAFE on Elida Road. More details on the way. You really owe it to yourself to check them out. Funny stuff!
If its been awhile, you really need to go out and visit our friends at the Yesterday's Lounge out on Independence Road. I bet its been a few yesterdays since you've been there so let me give you a few reasons why you need to go back. Live entertainment, $2 Tuesdays which means 3-7 all shots and beers $2. It means 5 way chili or a chicken dinner or 5 chicken wings for ....you guessed it $2! And breakfast all day long! More options than a drive thru menu at prices a whole lot better. Tell em you read about them here. And did I mention Larry Carpenter is back?
Everybody is putting together the final touches on Super Bowl parties. As soon as I get details I will let you know.
I also heard from a very reliable source that the very popular Polly Mae is putting together a new release. Looking forward to that and as soon as I can I will pass along my insights.
