That's a Lollapalooza Line-Up?

If you're chomping at the bit for your now-on-sale 2010 Lollapalooza tickets, think again. Though unconfirmed, the rumored headlining line-up according to Chicago Tribune's Greg Kot includes Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, the Strokes, Soundgarden and Green Day. Why would you pay $200 plus fees to watch a by-the-numbers show you could access for $5.99 on demand?

Factor in exorbitant food and beverage costs and you've got the perfect reason to check out one of the many club gigs that take place around Lolla time rather than the overblown C3-run circus. Arcade Fire might be worth a single-day pass if paired with the right side-stage acts, but for now, Lollapalooza 2010 looks like a waste of precious cash at a time when all of our wallets are feeling a bit light.
