That famous actress Miss Garland---Beverly not Judy!---is back in a '50s gem

We can still remember that day some many years ago when that great actress Garland---Beverly, please, not Judy---dropped by our Redbook offices to say hello and chat about her Holiday Inn.
And, of course, our face Beverly camp classic, The Alligator People. She even autographed a terrific shot of this scaly beast trying to seduce the blonde beauty.
So you can image our delight when he found out that loyal fans of campy flicks are invited to combat the winter chills with a double dose of '50s high-camp creature features---The Beast of Hollow Mountain and The Neanderthal Man---in a Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack!, two more titles from Scream, Factory, two more titles in the ongoing Shout! Factory series of cheesy classics.
Based on an idea by the legendary special effects wizard Willis O’Brien and starring Guy Madison and Patricia Medina, The Beast Of Hollow Mountain is a classic creature feature. An American rancher living in Mexico is staying near Hollow Mountain, an impenetrable swamp where, stories have it, dwells a living prehistoric Tyrannosaurus Rex.
You can figure it out!
Then there's garlands of talent in The Neanderthal Man, in which a mad scientist uses his new serum on his housekeeper, turning her into an ape-woman. Like
most crazed scientists, he then tries the serum on himself, creating half ape/half man. The lead in plated by Robert Shayne (Inspector Henderson from the classic small-screen series Superman) and Bev (in an earlier role) plays his wife.
Black-and-white beauty all around!

A Mexican monster, si?
