With Thanksgiving almost upon us, we tend to get nervous about all the things we need to do for the big day. Cooks Illustrated published a Schedule Planner which will help you organize all the tasks that have to be done for a successful Thanksgiving.
Their planner starts about a week before Thanksgiving and is a great guide for both those making the meal for the first time and those that are old hands at it.
Even if you have planned everything perfectly, there are times that things just do not go right. If that's the case, do not fret. This is your time to enjoy your friends and family. After all, unless you torch the turkey at the table, they will not remember that your gravy was lumpy. What they will remember is the wonderful time they had at your home.
You may also want to read about averting Thanksgiving disasters for help with lumpy gravy, dry turkey and unexpected guests.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving.
