Well, after all the speculation and rummaging in the rumor mill Sony has finally revealed evidence of the new console. The official rendering of the DualShock 4 controller and some of the main upcoming titles were revealed to media sites and fans including IGN.com.
Though the console itself was not shown, the show-stealer was the new controller. It resembles much of its predecessors, with the classic layout buttons and dual thumb sticks. However, the old start and select buttons have been moved to the side and renamed in function in order to accommodate the brand new touch pad. The features are supposed to help reduce the amount of online and offline latency as well as improved rumble and game-play control.
Unfortunately, an official release date or console purchase price was not given, the only hint simply being 'holidays 2013.' Some whispers of game titles included: Watch Dogs, Bungie's new Destiny, and the works from Quantic Dream.
