Dear Home-school Mom,

Thank you for being a gift that keeps giving throughout the entire year.
Thank you for all your hard work that keeps your family together. Many people have no idea what it takes to maintain a home, shuffle kids to various activities, keep your hubby happy, and oh yeah, teach your children at home. Your dedication to invest your time and talents into your family and friends may never make it on the nightly news or be a top story search on Google, but your love and devotion will impact the generations to come way more than any 15 minutes of fame.

Thank you for every nose you wipe, all the clothes you wash, and every tear you kiss goodnight. Thank you for reading their favorite story “just one more time,” for you are creating lifetime learners. Thank you for coming up with new ways to teach mathematics and geography. Thanks for allowing your kitchen to be turned into a science lab. Thank you for all the field trips, library runs, and art classes. Thank you for correcting their speech, telling them to look it up, and requiring thank you letters.

Thank you for choosing to live in your car half the year so they can excel at all their activities. Thank you for all your creative last minute meals. Thank you for showing your kids it is better to give than receive. Thank you for being you. There is no one else out their just like you.
