Actress Thandie Newton and several cast members celebrated the New York premiere of their DirectTV “Rogue” series, held at Tribeca Grand Screening Room on March 21, 2013 in New York City.
The 40-year-old British actress plays the role of “Grace,” a “morally and emotionally-conflicted” undercover detective who is tormented by the possibility that her own actions may have contributed to her son’s mysterious death. She sets off on a quest for the truth which leads her into her city’s most powerful and dangerous crime family.
Thandie looked lovely in a simple sheath in tones of silver, gold, black and red, which featured a starburst pattern, topped off with a black jackets with elbow-length butterfly sleeves. Black pumps and a gold clutch finished the ensemble.
Costar Leah Gibson, who plays Cathy Laszlo,” looked dressed for Spring in a pretty floral skirt and white tanktop, belted at the waist with a hot pink belt and teamed with coral pumps and a turquoise clutch.
Joining them at the premiere were Joshua Sasse, who plays “Alec,” looked sassy in his charcoal grey suit with pant legs rolled up, showing some serious tattoos around his ankles, and accessorized with a deep red sash.
Matthew Beard too wore grey in the way of a matching vest and pants ensemble, leaving off the jacket for a more casual look.
Patty Ishimoto, Vice President of Entertainment at DirectTV and General Manager of the Audience Network, joined the actors today, donning her black and brown colorblocked dress, which she teamed with tan boots.
Created by Matthew Parkhill, Rogue also stars Marton Csokas, Kavan Smith and Sarah Jeffery, who have each committed to at least ten episodes. The series is a US-Canadian production and is filmed in the breath-taking Canadian city of Vancouver, British Columbia.
