TexFest at The Woodlands

There is definitely no shortage of HEBs in the area, so there is no excuse for not going to find some of the best products Texas has to offer at the chain’s 3rd Annual TexFest. The “Big as Texas” event takes place from the 27th of February to the 12th of March.

HEB is well known for their Go local agenda and in a world that is primarily Made in China, this is definitely worth supporting.

So what kind of products will you be able to find? Definitely all kinds of sauces, both for dipping and for cooking. With the weather warming up, you’ll also find all sorts of great meats for grilling for our almost Spring like evening. Other Texas staples: Texas wines, pecans, peaches, gulf shrimp and more.

And don’t forget to look for HEB’s signature prepared products that make cooking during the week so much easier.

As a part of TexFest, the Indian Springs store will host a cooking night. “A True Taste of Texas” will take place on March 6th at 7pm. The cost is $25 per person and it will be hosted by Chef Cowboy Ken. The menu includes great spicy tastes like ranchero dressing for the salad and chipotle bacon BBQ sauce. And while you’re there, why not pick up a gallon of Texas’ favourite? Bluebell Icecream!
