According to The Sentinel a Texas woman called 911 to order a pack of cigarettes. Apparently she was highly intoxicated and decided she needed someone to bring her some cigarettes. She decided to call 911 to order them. This was reported on February 20th, 2013.
According to Hood County Sheriff’s LT. Kathy Jividen, the Texas woman had a visit from two Sheriff Deputies who arrested her for abusing 911. However, she was later let go on a $1,000 bond.
This is a good example of a dumb criminal. I don’t care how drunk you are, you don’t call 911 to order cigarettes to be delivered to your home. Why would anyone do something as stupid as this? It was the right move to arrest her because it was clearly abuse of the 911 system.
The lesson here people; watch who you call when you get intoxicated. Also, make sure you have enough cigarettes to last you so you won’t need to be a dumb criminal like this lady.
