The Texas vs. New Mexico State NCAA football 2013 season opener is slated to kick off later today, according to an Aug. 31 SB Nation report. The game is available both on TV and online via live stream video.
For those who know about Texas, it should not come as a huge surprise that this game will air live on TV on the Longhorn Network at 8 p.m. EST. Also not too shocking is the fact that the live stream video of the game is also available via the Longhorn Network. The good news is that New Mexico State will offer a live stream audio of the game on its athletic website.
Texas is hoping to build a season of 10 wins in 2013. In fact, head coach Mack Brown's job could depend on the once powerful team to come back into its former power after what some fans consider a lackluster season last year with just nine wins. Even so, the Longhorns are ranked number 15 nationally. Of course, New Mexico State would be thrilled with a road win against such a storied program. They are 42-point underdogs in the match up though, so an upset seems highly unlikely.
If you have access to the Longhorn Network you should be able to catch Texas vs. New Mexico State on TV or live stream video.
