Texas Twitter Tuesday: Oct. 4

Texas Twitter Tuesday is on October 4 this month. DrinkLocalWine co-founder and Wine Curmudgeon Jeff Siegel will be the featured guest.

Jeff Siegel and other Texas Twitter Tuesday folks will gather at the Whole Foods on Park Lane in Dallas shortly before seven to taste and chat about Texas wine. Mr. Siegel will discuss the Texas Wine Garden at the State Fair, Texas Wine Month in October, and Regional Wine Week that starts October 9.

The three wines chosen for the tasting this month are:

  • McPherson Cellars Tranquility White made for Whole Foods Market
  • Duchman Family Winery Montepulciano (also on tap at Whole Foods Market)
  • Flat Creek Estates Buckin’ Horse Red

The get-together will be at Whole Foods at 8190 Park Lane in Dallas. Take the Park Lane exit from I-75 (Central Expressway) and turn east. Whole Foods is less than a block away.

Or, you could take the DART train, orange or red line, to the Park Lane station, just steps away from the store.

To participate in Texas Twitter Tuesday, log in to Twitter (free to sign up) and go to the GoTexan TweetChat room. No registration or RSVP is required. Just show up at 7 p.m. on October 4, 2011 and join the discussion.
