Texas Twitter Tuesday: Nov 1

Texas Twitter Tuesday is on November first this month and we'll be chatting about Texas value wines. Jeff Cope, Texas Wine Lover blogger ( @TXWineLover ), will be the featured guest.

The Texas Wine Lover blog follows the journeys of Jeff and Gloria as they travel around Texas touring wineries. Check the blog to find out more about local wineries before you visit them.

Jeff Cope has selected three value wines readily available in local grocery stores:

  • Llano Estacado 2010 Sauvignon Blanc, a dry white wine selling for around $9. Llano Estacado Winery is out in Lubbock.
  • Becker Vineyards 2010 Cabernet-Syrah, a dry red wine selling for around $12. Becker Vineyards is outside of Stonewall, between Fredericksburg and Johnson City in Central Texas.
  • Sister Creek 2010 Muscat Canelli, a semi-sweet aromatic white selling for around $13. Sister Creek Vineyards is in Sisterdale in the Texas Hill Country.

To participate in Texas Twitter Tuesday, log in to Twitter (free to sign up) and go to the GoTexan TweetChat room. No registration or RSVP is required. Just show up at 7 p.m. on October 4, 2011 and join the discussion.
