Texas street racing "go big or go home"

Texas is a big state, full of big people, and big oriented thinking. This also has expanded into the world of Texas style street racing. Street racing with "big" machines that make "big" power is what Texas street racing is all about. In the following video, we get to see some of the finest street racing machines in the planet. I'm not one to condone street racing, but watching this video you have to appreciate the power and precision of these machines.

The whoosh of the forced induction systems and the cackle of the exhaust is enough to make any enthusiast feel that inner tingle. Using a Paxton supercharged SRT-10 Dodge Viper, twin turbo Ford GT, D1 Procharged LS3 Corvette, a 2008 stock Dodge Viper, and an SRT-10 powered GMC 1500 pick up with 800 wheel horsepower is how "them Texas boys" roll. You think you've got game? Wait until you see these guys. They put the big in GBGH!

Watching the following footage, one can only stand in awe as the beastly creations let out their roar. To see a GMC 1500 pickup traveling at speeds of 170 miles per hour is totally amazing. Sure the Ford GT is awesome, and the Corvette is as well; but the true spectacle of this tuning pack is the GMC 1500. Swapped with an SRT-10 motor and beefed up to 800 wheel horsepower by means of forced induction, I can't believe what I'm seeing when this thing pulls hard all the way into the danger zone. Reaching these speeds in a car is one thing, but in a truck it is totally outrageous. Again, let us not "condone" street racing with this article but look at the spectacle of modern tuning in motion. Amazing!
