Friday's action revolved around older games like Marvel vs Capcom 2, Capcom vs SNK 2, and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike. Also in action were tournaments for Project M, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Guilty Gear AC+R. EG Jwong basically dominated the proceedings as he won MvC2, CvS2, and 3S by defeating Preppy, Level Up's Alex Valle, and ChrisDat respectively. In SFxT, Valle would break through and take the title by beating Saionide in the finals. GameGuys Denial Stone Nguyen defeated former training partner MikeBoy from Louisiana in an old school GG final. And finally in PM, Insomnia's Rayzorium defeated Dr. Drew the Dragon to take the title.

Saturday was the bulk of the event, featuring the qualifying for the main six games, Super Street Fighter 4 AE 2012, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma, Injustice Gods Among Us, and Killer Instinct. Also featured were tournaments for King of Fighters 13, Soul Calibur V, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Super Smash Bros Melee. Some of the upsets of the day included PxG XI knocking ChrisG into losers in SF4, Scrubeks and Stone getting knocked out of the tournament in UMvC3, PR Balrog and ChrisG getting knocked into losers in KI, and Kid Viper getting knocked out of BB early in the tournament.

LDA Romance flew down here and took the KOF title after finishing second last year to Rzr Xian. GameGuys C-Money and Mojo won Soul Calibur and Melee respectively. And Justin Wong took two more titles with victories over Valle and ShotosAllDay in Alpha 3 and ST. With those wins, Justin won the Stargate Classic Pentathlon and qualified for the ST Tournament of Legends. Tekken saw Texas on top battling for the title. GameGuys DJ KOR made it a 3rd championship for their team as he defeated San Antonio's Grims to take the trophy.

Sunday featured the top 8 for BlazBlue, Killer Instinct, Injustice, the top 16 for UMvC3, and the top 32 for SF4. KI saw Final Round winner Justin Wong losing to start the day against GOL Zaith, and then knocked out of the tournament in 5th place by YouTuube. PR Balrog came back from an early loss to make the grand finals against IC MyGod88, and storm through 2 set, 3-0, 3-0 to win the title. In BB, TS Lord Knight and SG were two of the favorites heading into the tournament, and they would end up fighting for the championship. Lord Knight would defeat SG soundly and win. Kombat Houston's Digit dominated FNATIC Pefect Legend 3-0 in the winners final, and then 3-2 again in the grand finals in what some viewed as an upset.

Marvel action began with Fiyah Liger continuing his upset run by eliminating Noel Brown. Justin Wong and ChrisG rolled through their winners bracket matches and ended up meeting again in the winners final, where ChrisG would hold on to take the set. XsK Samurai made a solid run through the losers bracket, taking down AB Fonzo, TDG Oso, INS Buckethead, EG and PR Balrog. Meanwhile, INS Jan was heading towards a collision with Samurai by defeating Fiyah Liger, Ranmasama, and INS AJ Tucker. Jan defeated Samurai in their pool, and it would happen again in the 4th place fight. Jan would go on to play Justin in the 3rd place fight. After Jan took the first two games, Justin stormed back to take the next two, then held on to take the set and face ChrisG again. This time around, ChrisG dominated the proceedings and swept the finals and repeat as Texas Showdown UMvC3 champion.

In Street Fighter, Justin and EG KBrad dominated the winners bracket to meet in the final, which was won by Justin. On the losers bracket side, AB Joe Love, AB Chaotix, LU Alex Valle, and GG NYChrisG all made strong runs from the first round of losers top 32 to the top 10. Joe, Chaotix, and ChrisG's runs would all up end with 9th place finishes thanks to XsK Samurai, AB Nashfan, and DL MVP. Alex Valle would continue on after defeating DL FourWude who had lost a heartbreaker against Justin. MVP would go on to defeat Nashfan and PxG Integra to land in the 4th place fight. Valle would lose to Samurai, who then lost to PR Balrog and ended up facing MVP in the 4th place fight. After splitting the first two games, and then going to the third round, MVP makes one fatal mistake whiffing his throw attempt and losing to Balrog. PR would then defeat KBrad to meet Justin in the finals. But it was anticlimactic as Justin swept the finals and completing the EG sweep.
