Due to heavy flooding in the Houston area, Dogtown Ranch Rescue and Sanctuary has suffered severe damage.
“ The land is low lying and the rain dumped on the area last night and this morning is flooding the dog kennels and the paddock where the horses range.”
Dogtown Ranch Rescue and Sanctuary is located on a 20-acre spread in rural Hempstead, Texas outside Houston. Like most hardworking rescues, Dogtown is completely supported by donations and 100% dedicated to saving animals’ lives.
Over the years, many a death row animal has been saved at the last minute by Dogtown. Now, Dogtown needs saving so they can continue their valuable and much needed rescue effort.
Volunteers are being sought with kennels who can help move approximately 30 plus dogs and four to five horses to higher ground until the flood waters recede.
The ranch is located at:
45912 Qualls Road
Hempsteaad, Texas 77445
Phone: 979-826-2480

No Paws Left Behind is matching donations dollar for dollar….meaning, if one dollar is donated through this link, No Paws Left Behind will match with equal amount:

This is how rescue works. These are small groups, not the big corporate ‘education’ rescue groups who travel and become scarce when trouble shows up. These groups ‘have each others’ backs, but cannot function without public support. Please consider groups like Dogtown and No Paws Left Behind when donating. Consider where donations actually go…toward saving animals’ lives or into salary or expenses used for traveling and attending seminars.
