Ross is the third straight starter for the Rangers this season that played in 2013 as a reliever. It is proof that Texas is doing what they can with their youngsters while their star pitchers recover from various injuries. Ross had a great spring training, with a 2.86 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP.
This will be the first career start for Robbie Ross.
