On Tuesday, 20-year-old Seth Michael Drone was booked into jail for allegedly beating, and trying to freeze, a small dog.
According to the Associated Press, on April 19, police were originally called to a residence on the 200 block of Cypress in Lake Jackson for a report of a suicide attempt; Drone had attempted to overdose on drugs.
Responding officers also found the dog, who had been removed from the freezer by Drone's girlfriend. The dog was still alive when the woman made the disturbing discovery - the dog was taken to a veterinarian for treatment, though the current condition has not been made public.
Drone was booked into jail on a charge of animal cruelty; bond was set at $25,000.
