Yahoo! News reports that police say36-year-old Charles Everett Brownlow Jr. started his alleged killing spree around 5 p.m. on Monday when he allegedly gunned down a woman in Terrell, Texas. Officials say fire crews responded to a second house around 30 minutes later, and once the blaze was extinguished they discovered the body of a woman in the debris.
Then, around 10:30 p.m. police discovered the bodies of a man and woman inside another home. There was also a 3-year-old child left unharmed in that home.
The final victim was the clerk in the convenience store where police caught up with Brownlow. The clerk was described as a model employee, and reportedly leaves behind a 1-year-old son.
Brownlow engaged the police in a car chase that ended with him being capture in a creek.
Investigators haven't released the names of the victims, any possible motive, or any preliminary charges they may file against Brownlow.
