Not surprisingly, long standing California trademark fast food chain In-N-Out Burger is opening a store in Dallas, Texas, with additional facilities planned.
This will be the first Texas location for the fast food chain which originated here in Southern California back in 1948, in Baldwin Park. There are plans on the table for additional facilities, including a meat processing plant. This is suggestive of the chain expanding with more locations soon in the Lone Star state.
Many business are either leaving California, or strongly considering the idea. The business climate here has been rated as the worst in the nation, with the state of Texas at the top of the list. In a recent televised news conference regarding the states dire budget situation, Gov. Jerry Brown referred to the situation as “critical,” once again calling for continuing sacrifices in order to balance California's growing $25.4 billion deficit.
