A Texas father and son got an up-close look at a triangle-shaped UFO on September 15, 2010, as they drove along Route 87/97 outside of Pandora after 8:30 p.m., according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The two were out looking for more witnesses to a UFO they sighted on September 14, 2010, in a case the UFO Examiner covered as, Wingless, burning object falls from cloud near La Vernia, Texas.
The son asked his father to pull over to the side of the road after observing a light in the distance “zigzagging” between three stars.
The object soon appeared to be between 1,000 and 2,000 feet off of the ground.
“As it moved closer to us, a few more cars and trucks pass us on the road but nobody stopped,” the reporting witness stated. “At first it was a solid light but as it flew closer I can see three separate lights in a tight triangle formation with a huge light at each corner.”
The witness described the UFO.
“Each light was glowing and had a shape like those sunken ceiling light used in modern kitchens, you can only see the lower half of the light. We could not see any metal or any shadow of the body but you can see the three lights where mounted onto some kind of fixture.
“I believe the diameter of each light would be 15 to 20 feet across and the space between each light about 6 to 8 feet. I would give it a size between a Caravan 675 and a Citation CJ4 or a length of 50 to 100 feet. It moved steadily over our heads from the northwest to the southwest without changing its speed or direction. My truck was still running so we could not tell if it was making any noise. I predict it was moving about 70 to 80 miles an hour for it took about ten minutes to fly over us and out into the horizon. “
The two plan to stake out the area again this evening in the hopes of seeing the object again. They did not provide still photos or video of the second sighting.
The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or man made. If Texas MUFON State Director Steve Hudgeons investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.
TX, September 15, 2010 - Three White Lights in Triangle Formation. MUFON Case # 25456.
My son and I have driven to the little town of Leesville, which is five miles north of Nixon, Texas to look for more eyewitnesses to the prior night report (See ‘Jet liner with no visible wings burning and falling out of a cloud’ September 14th 911 Call).
After spending about two hours in Leesville and the surrounding area, we drove back to Nixon and asked around if anyone had seen anything in the sky.
At approximant 8:30PM, my son and I started our drive West from Nixon on Texas 87/97 toward Stockdale. We had drove pass the town of Pandora when my son makes me pull off to the side of the road. He said something is zigzagging between three stars. With the truck still running and traffic coming at us in both directions I jump out with my camera and ran over to his side.
My son was now standing outside the truck and is pointing in about a 55 degree angle up and is pointing northwest. I asked him again what he saw. He stated it is not an airplane, not a shooting or falling star. It was moving zigzagging and it is now coming right to us.
Since I was driving my eyes needed a few seconds to adjust to the night sky. I told my son to get the spot light and point to it (we learned to carry a high power spot light with us at all times). He points the spot light at a now slow moving light, this is moving right towards us from about 1,000 to 2,000 feet above.
As it moved closer to us, a few more cars and trucks pass us on the road but nobody stopped. At first it was a solid light but as it flew closer I can see three separate lights in a tight triangle formation with a huge light at each corner.
Each light was glowing and had a shape like those sunken ceiling light used in modern kitchens, you can only see the lower half of the light. We could not see any metal or any shadow of the body but you can see the three lights where mounted onto some kind of fixture.

I predict it was moving about 70 to 80 miles an hour for it took about ten minutes to fly over us and out into the horizon.
I so busy trying to get measurements and directions in my head that I forgot to film it. Go figure.
After it faded into the night we drove up to the next crossroad which is County Road 538 and turn left and drove about 100 feet to get away from the traffic. We parked there observing the night sky for another hour or so but there was no more activity. We are planning to set up there again tonight.

You would think they would have a camera with them.
Yes, because farmers are supposed to carry cameras with them wherever they go. Geez.
lol, yeah, I'm surprised they didn't a rocket launcher; they could've shot it down to get a better look.
I have to say, how convient that he was so excited about seeing it, and trying to figure out measurements, that he forgot to film it. Which implies he must've had a camera of some kind with him. Now....If I see something like that, the first thing I'm going to think of is....."Get it on video....NOW"! Or at least take some still photos.
I don't believe in UFO's being from another planet other than our own. There has NEVER been any SOLID proof, like video evidence, or any convincing pics that I've ever seen, and I watch shows about this subject. Anytime anyone gets something on film, it's always at night, all it is is lights, and they're always a little out of focus, and the camera is shaking like hell. Anything that even looked convincing, has been proven to be computer generated. A complete fake!
These UFO nutjobs are just looking for their 15 minutes of fame by making up stories. They would be good stories to tell around a campfire at night, though.
The lost unbelievers will always be lost, always not see, always not hear, try reading the bible, the book of truth, ufo,s ARE from earth. Even if you had pictures you would not believe. I feel sorry for you.
I guess all of those U.S. Astronauts that have reported that UFOs do exist, they've seen them - are nut jobs? Take a few minutes & look in the mirror...
Yep, like you stated from above "Now....If I see something like that, the first thing I'm going to think of is....."Get it on video....NOW"! Or at least take some still photos." I guess we ALL think that until it really happens to you and you’re face to face with one of these things. I was not excepting to see another UFO and that is what I get for not being ready.
And Sir, no nut job here, no looking for fame, and definitely NO MADE UP STORY.
"I would give it a size between a Caravan 675 and a Citation CJ4 or a length of 50 to 100 feet"
A hundred foot van? What's up with that?
A Caravan 675 is a nine passenger, two pilot Cessna build, highwing prop aircraft. The Citation CJ4 is a litle bigger then the Caravan with twin jet engine, length is about 54 feet.
Me and my dad saw this rather large black triangular thing with the three large lights, one on each corner back in the late 80's early 90's in FT Worth at night. It flew over I-20 S near Miller Brewery / Mrs Bairds complex heading NE. We suspected that it was some new military aircraft, since it was heading in the direction of the Naval Air Station in Grand Prairie. It made no noise and reflected no light from the ground or its own lights.
The diameter of the lights were 15 to 20 feet? That would make most of the object covered by 3 lights. Gotta be a typo. A Caravan is not a van but a single engined turboprop largely used to fly FedEx cargo at night. Ain't no Cessna Citation 100 feet long.
Right, the object was all lights to me. I saw no real structure. The length is a comparison only.
I also saw a pretty much exactly as what has been described here. It was in the early 1990's in the desert of central AZ. It was about 10:30PM and appeared to me to be about the size of a football field and with 3 large bright lights, one in each corner. I heard no sound as the craft came very close to the road, another card had pulled over and I drove very slowly with the window down. At first I figured it was military helicopters with spotlights but when it came next to the road I could see it was one large triangular craft that had no sound. The craft disappeard suddenly at a very high rate of speed just as it was about to cross the road. I regret not stopping to speak to the driver of the other car to get their take on what we just saw.
I have seen one also, along the shore of Lake Erie near the Islands. It was some years ago. I was taking a walk at about 10 pm to 10:30 pm. It did not have any lights on. It was just a black triangle and it was quite large - it is hard to judge size and altitude against the night sky. Although I could not give an altitude it looked low and it was large because it would take outstretched arms to give the distance from one end to the other as it moved directly over my head. This was a clear Summer night though and the stars were the background. This black triangle moved slowly and made no sound. It was moving from South to North out over Lake Erie.
If I carried a rifle or shotgun and was on a quiet stretch of road i would get the rifle and shoot the damn thing down if possible. Why not? it could be automated. if it was ours, why the hell are they flying top secret craft over the highways isn't that dangerous to us? And if its extraterrestrials who gives a sh*t. What have they done to help us or the planet. And if the thing crashes keep it a secret, then make a sh* load of money when i call the news cameras to come then write a book, auction the sh*t off whatever to make some big money.
Hey Shoot it down,
I don't think a rifle or shotgun will bring what I saw down at all. And when your little bullet bonces off it, or you missed it completely? What do you think THEY will shoot back to you? Maybe they are looking for the right, kind folks to pull over on the side of the road with, share a smoke and chew the fat with for a while...or maybe get the directions to the house where the guy with the gun lives? Who knows what they are or what they want, but lets not shoot first and ask question later, okay?
I was taken by a black triangle in the sky on sept 15th 1989, I have never reported it because of the things they did to me. They are real, I believe every word.
I believe you Anonymous; just don't think everything that happens to you is meant to be bad. You came back right? You still alive to tell a story, that is what I would do. I know you have knowledge other folks might need to overcome their fears, and I hope you have become wiser from your abduction. Who knows, with their technology, they might have even saved your life from some hidden diseases.
Not to make fun of your situation and not defending the abduction. This is a very bad example, but I had my cat fixed. He was very pissed at me at first, not understanding what the other being was doing to him, but I can tell now, he knows I am looking out for his health.
These things are probably already shooting each other down. look at Ed Grimsley, he uses night vision telescopes to view UFO's shooting it out in space. I think there is a interplanetary war for our souls going on, they're probably demonic I don't think they are here to help us at all. Besides its fun to shoot down UFO's...Go Big Lets Roll.
I saw a triangular UFO, close up, back in the mid 90's. The low altitude and speed that it was flying at made it impossible to mistake it for anything other than an intelligently controlled craft. It made almost no noise, merely a slight humming sound. Never reported it or told anyone in my "real" life because of the stigma attached to UFO's, though I do occasionally, in my spare time, comb the net for similar cases.
My opinion is that the triangular UFO that I saw (as well as many others that have been reported, especially those that were reported in the late 80's/early 90's in Belgium) are not being controlled by the Air Force or humans in general simply because no organization, be it military or civilian, would fly what is obviously an amazingly advanced craft around highly populated urban areas. At extraordinarily low altitudes and speeds no less. You're risking exposure at every turn, especially if a malfunction downs the craft -- you'd potentially have thousands of witnesses (with cameras) surrounding your disabled craft in minutes. Very hard to cover something like THAT up.
Also, factor into the equation the fact that the Air Force has strict guidelines that are followed when they test top secret aircraft. They test them at night with the external lights of the aircraft disabled, and they fly them at high altitudes over sparsely populated areas. All previously classified aircraft (like the SR-71) have followed these procedures to the letter and, as such, were not exposed to the public until the Government deemed that their disclosure was acceptable.
"...Never reported it or told anyone in my "real" life because of the stigma attached to UFO's..." This is true if only YOU allow stigma to get the best of you. Who is the wiser, the person dismissing an unseen fact, or, the person who knows what he has seen.

I would be scared if i see one of them things like that and if they had token me far away from my family.............!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a video on what MUFON and I did in follow-up UFO investigation.

Hey Roger! I have been enjoying your interviews on Darkness Radio in Minneapolis. Man I wish you would tell me some those Lottery numbers. LoL!
After many months of studying this sighting, I think I have figured out how the propulsion system is working on this triangle-shape ship. I am trying to post my technical drawing I submitted to MUFON here for all to see and maybe I can get some feedback from others.
Maybe with a lottery winning, I can build this thing. (hint, hint)
