Texas Dog Freezes To Death, Owner Charged

Animal Control officers responded to a call yesterday morning and found the dead body of a dog, chained to a fence of a Longview, TX home, in the freezing weather, reports KETK-NBC.

The poor pooch’s body was so frigid that the veterinarian arriving at the scene, couldn’t even get a temperature reading.
The owner of the dog will most likely be charged with class A misdemeanor animal cruelty, for not providing their pet with adequate shelter, water or food.

Authorities all over the country have been pleading with local citizens, for days, to bring their pets inside during the cold snap.
