Fathers can be provoked to the point of outrage when they encounter a young man taking advantage of their daughter. In the case of a 17-year-old teenage boy who was hiding in the Houston, Texas man’s daughter bed, he found out that indeed a father’s rage can be deadly. According to Fox News, the dad was notified by one of his children in the home that there was a strange boy in his 16-year-old daughter’s bedroom.

The anger turned to rage when the dad opened the door and found the randy young man in bed with is daughter at 2:30 a.m. First reactions and comments are crucial, because when the enraged dad ordered the teen out of his daughter’s bed his daughter confessed that her dad’s eyes were betraying him, and the older boy was not in her bed.

To make matters worse she then told her dad, who was armed with a gun, that she did not even know the young deceased man. From that point a confrontation ensued between the teen and the father, after the man instructed the teen to not move according to Fox News.

Apparently the boy did not comply with the dad who had the stronger position and allegedly reached for something, and the father opened fire and killed the teen in the bedroom.

At 2:30 a.m. in the morning the daughter’s moral character was probably not the issue for the dad, as much as seeing a teenager in his daughter’s bed and anger and a father’s protective love kicked into high gear. This cost the young man’s his life.

Was it legal and would other fathers react in the same manner? Those questions could be put before a jury of his peers if he is arrested and charged with the teen’s murder. Fox News reported that the detectives are going to refer the case to a grand jury.
