The first major movie release of 2013 is the horror film ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D,’ a sequel to the gritty 1974 original ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre.’
The only nationwide release of the weekend, ‘Chainsaw’ arrives in Huntsville theaters Friday, Jan. 4, nearly a decade after the 2003 remake of ‘Massacre.’
In the sequel, a young woman learns about an inheritance from her grandmother, which includes the estate where the original massacre occurred, and she travels to Texas with friends to collect.
Unfortunately, the chainsaw-wielding Leatherface is still alive and ready to continue his killing spree.
