Governor Rick Perry hand delivered a shocking letter to President Obama when Obama landed in Dallas. Austin, Texas: “Washington has been an abject failure at securing the border, leaving it vulnerable to exploitation, and our citizens exposed to grave danger,” Gov. Perry said. “An unsecured US-Mexico border is a serious national security threat, menacing the safety and security of our citizens, and the federal government is obligated to secure it. Our citizens deserve the best possible effort to protect them from this advancing network of criminal gangs.”

I don't believe uhbama will send ONE troop to the border, let alone twelve hundred (or Perry's one thousand for Texas alone).
To do so before the upcoming elections would be political suicide(promises yes, troops NO).
If the demoncrats suffer heavy losses in the election, troops on the border become even more UNLIKELY.
It's not unreasonable to conclude that the pandering to the undocumented democrats will ramp up from now until 2012.

As we all know, Gov. Brewer of Arizona has done the same. Also as we all know, it has fallen on deaf ears with Øbama ~ as he is far too busy with his campaigning, fund raising, golfing, making TV appearances with the ladies of The View, vacationing and pandering to the illegal immigrants to meet with the border state Governors.
I must agree with the comments of Ms.T...Øbama feels it is far more politically beneficial to pander to illegal voters then to protect the American people!! SHAME!!
