The Houston Texans vs. the San Francisco 49ers NFL Sunday Night Football game will kickoff live from Candlestick Park on Sunday evening, according to an Oct. 6 Golden Gate Sports report. Both teams are in the NFL week five schedule with two wins and two losses. Only one will leave this week above 500. The game is available on TV and via live stream video.
The Texans are headed into the Sunday Night Football game hoping for redemption after they literally gave away a win last week to the Seahawks. Meanwhile, the 49ers are hoping to add to their one game winning streak after beating the Rams last week. The talented Texans team is struggling more than expected this season, and quarterback Matt Schaub's pick-six late in the game last week did not help things.
San Francisco's defense just came off its best performance so far after last week's win, and they are looking to take advantage of Matt Schaub's tendency to throw interceptions, and the Texans' third down conversion trouble. Of course Colin Kaepernick struggled earlier in the season for the 49ers, and he may not be over that just yet. Tonight will be a real proving ground for him and his team. Both teams started the NFL season as possible Super Bowl contenders, but obviously that is not turning out for at least one of them.
You can catch the Texans vs. 49ers on TV at 8:25 p.m. EDT on NBC affiliates throughout the country. If you are not near a TV at game time, you can check out Houston vs. San Francisco via live stream video using NBC Extra.
This Sunday Night Football game should be a good matchup and is expected to be a close game, which will make it fun to watch. Check it out on TV or via live stream video tonight and enjoy.
