The Texans regrouped behind Arian Foster's 1 yard touchdown and two point conversation run that tied the game 24-24.
Brian Cushing and JJ Watt had 2 sacks each in the game. Cushing's two sacks were a career high along with his 11 tackles in the game.
Randy Bullock missed a 46 yard field goal attempt that went wide right, and forced overtime for the Texans. It was Bullock's third missed attempt of the afternoon.
DeAndre Hopkins finished with 117 yards, 1 touchdown and seven receptions. Matt Schaub threw for 298 yards along with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
"It's just great character for us to find a way to win two weeks in a row like that," Kubiak said.
Jake Locker threw for 148 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
