This July the Park Heights Community Health Alliance will host its 5th Annual Aetna/Maryland Physicians Care Annual Baltimore Road Race on July 26.

This race will feature the appraised Smith Family Foundation 5k, Walter’s Walk, Healthy Start/Smart Steps Youth Fun run and Middleton Musical mile.

Don’t forget about the post-race festivities that are sure to be a rewarding treat.

Running a 5K is a rewarding race that allows you to push yourself through the 3-miles.

Most running enthusiasts complete in a 5k race monthly if not weekly. Several races in the Baltimore community support great causes for organizations or foundations.

Of running a 5k is a great aerobic workout to do as an individual or with a group and family.

But imagine completing a course with no hills- just flat ground!

You get to test your fitness level on the course as you race through the scenic views of the Baltimore’s historic Park Heights’ neighboring communities from start to finish.

That’s right!

A flat course that has the race known as the fastest 5K race in Baltimore City with a course route that loops around the Park Heights community.

It’s sure to give you a little speed and endurance workout.

The race is for runners and walkers of all fitness levels.

The race is in partnership with the Park Heights Community Health Alliance in efforts to spread awareness of living healthy lifestyles and community health programs through physical activities.
