Tuesday night during the season finale of NBCs “The Voice,” Tessanne Chin from Jamaica won the title with her coach, Adam Levine; the news has created a buzz Wednesday morning. See the video to the left about the finalists during season 5 of "The Voice."
Tessanne Chin, 28, is from Kingston, Jamaica and her parents are also musicians, according to USA Today. Initially, Tessanne Chin performed Pink’s “Try” during her blind audition and all four judges turned their chairs. “The Voice” judges include: Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and CeeLo Green.
During last week’s show of “The Voice,” after Tessanne Chin performed “Bridge Over Troubled Water” Adam Levine was speechless and the show’s host Carson Daily said that she made a tremendous impact during that song. Daly also said that she needed just one more song like that to win the show.
Tuesday night, Tessanne Chin performed her own specialized version of “Tumbling Down” by Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic.
