Perhaps Terry Dubrow anticipated the backlash he would receive after the finale episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" aired on Monday, August 18, and that's why he said last week that he doesn't want to do the show anymore? After the episode aired, both Terry and Heather Dubrow have received a ton of viewer backlash for their behavior towards David and Shannon Beador at Vicki Gunvalson's dinner party.

In the latest episode, Shannon notified David that Heather and Terry were upset with him because of his "spread your legs” comment to Heather, which he had drunkenly yelled out while she was riding a mechanical bull a few months earlier at her hoe-down party. Once they arrived at Vicki's party, David approached Heather and Terry in front of everyone and apologized for his comment.

Unfortunately for David, Heather and Terry didn't really accept his apology, something that was confirmed later during dinner when Terry went after David for the comment. Terry dismissed David's apology as being insincere, said that he was just “a construction guy," and even called him a "penis."

As the episode aired, Terry took to Twitter to defend himself. He tweeted that he "wasn't putting down construction workers." He added that he was raised by a construction worker, that he has great respect for them and that he's a construction worker with a scalpel. While one fan wrote that she still loves him, the rest of the comments he received were negative.

People slammed Terry for not accepting David's apology and moving on. One person wrote that he came off as "very elitist and judgmental," another wrote that his behavior was "was elitist, disdainful, and SO arrogant," while another wrote that she has lost all respect for him and that he's a "d**k" and an "elitist a**hole."

When Heather posted a photo of her, Tamra and Vicki at the dinner party to her Instagram account, she received a barrage of backlash. People wrote in to tell her how they used to love her and Terry but now can't support them anymore. One person called them "arrogant dis[gus]sting beasts" while several called for them to leave the show. She was even called a "horrific narcissist" and proof that money "doesn't equal class and dignity." Ouch!

Terry and Heather Dubrow are probably hoping that they'll come off much better on the "Real Housewives of Orange County" reunion show than they did on the finale! The big question now is how much will viewers see Heather Dubrow and Shannon Beador fight on the reunion show, which begins on Monday, August 25, and who will come out on top when it comes to public opinion.
