Where is Terrilynn Monette? This 26-year-old teacher has been missing since March 2.
Monette was at Parlay’s bar in Louisiana partying with her friends. She was celebrating on that night because she was nominated “Teacher of the Year.”
Monette is so passionate about teaching that she left California, the place of her birth, and headed to Louisiana because there is a high need for teachers there, according to the CNN.
Her family and friends are now filled with anxiety. Monette’s mother, Toni Enclade, expressed her grief by saying, "There's total emptiness in my life right now. I miss my daughter so, so much, no one can hardly believe the impact that she has had on our family."
Numerous volunteers and police have been searching for this teacher.
On the night she went missing, Monette had been drinking heavily. She even told her friends she would sleep in her car because she was unable to drive home.
Police said “She was seen about 4 a.m., talking to an unidentified man in the parking lot.” However, after interviewing the mysterious man, police said he is not a suspect.
Her mother believes someone has abducted her daughter.
