UPDATE: Bain has been rescued. Thank you everyone for sharing this dog's story.
Meet Bain who is barely two years old; tragically his entire world is nothing more than a concrete wall and a chain link prison. He's a male pit bull mix which stigmatizes him as an undesirable four-legged family companion.
Another mark against Bain is his fear and desperation. When quickly approached, Bain growls. A volunteer writes:
"He is in need of foster or rescue because he is so scared that he tries to ward people off by growling when they come near. If you give him a little time and treats, he will warm up to you and let you pet and handle him and show you that he's not really a meanie."
Bain is located at the Wake County Animal in Raleigh, N.C.
"If you are a 501 C3 rescue who can pull him, please contact Cindy at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. If you are a registered WCAC foster who can take him, please contact Joanne Duda at email@example.com. Bain is located at the Wake County Animal Center in Raleigh, NC."
Here is Bain's link. There is no information available if this poor little soul has been abused or mistreated. Can someone help him? His plight has been shared nearly 1,200 times, but we still have not found him a new human to love and trust.
Please share Bain's story with your friends, relatives, and coworkers. So many of the more difficult pet rescues have been saved thanks to the folks using social media to spread the word.
