Update 8/10/14: According to the facility, these siblings are being pulled from the facility together - safe!
An adorable, albeit terrified, pair of siblings recently lost their home when they were walked into a county operated animal control facility in Manning, S.C.
The seven-month-old puppies, who appear to be hounds, are beside themselves with fear at the animal control facility. A heart-breaking photo of the pair is posted to the Clarendon County Animal Control website and it shows the pups' attempts to comfort one another.
The explanation with the photo is brief - stating only:
Pen 3 We are so scared! Our owner cannot keep us anymore. We need a new home. Hopefully we can go to the same home. We love each other!
A bit more information is provided on the Clarendon County Animal Control Facebook page; the photo of the pups who are trying to comfort one another is accompanied by the following information:
At Clarendon County Animal Control, Manning SC, in Pen 3, brother and sister hounds. Sister is 080514-10, she is brown and white. Brother is 080414-1, he is black, white, and brown. They are owner surrenders, and are very shy but sweet. About 7 months old. They are very protective of each other. Sister's release date is 8/12, brother's is 8/11.
Please network on behalf of these beautiful puppies; they are frightened and need to leave the facility.
