June 28, 2013

A litter of beautiful puppies at the Cleveland County Animal Control in Shelby, N.C., is at risk of being destroyed.

Though the puppies are young, they seem to know that they are in terrible danger.

The puppies, referred to only by their tags, "28 29 30 31 32," are all considered to be urgent, and they are currently in the Facebook album, titled "Urgent."

The following information is shared with the album:

Cleveland County Animal Control in Shelby North Carolina is a high kill open intake county run facility. All dogs and cats are guaranteed a 72 hour hold for owner reclaim. After 72 hours, the dogs/cats can be released for rescue/adoption or can be pts according to Animal Control's discretion.

The puppies have barely started their lives, yet they are already facing an untimely, unfair end.

Networking raises awareness and helps to save lives. Please take a moment to network on behalf of these puppies before they are just another sad statistic.
