Terrell Owens wins big in child support case

Former NFL player Terrell Owens got a huge break in his child support cases. He was successful in getting his child support orders decreased.

Owens, who has four children with four different women, was begging for the courts to lower his child support. His children are Terique Owens, 12, Atlin Owens, Kylee Owens and Dasha Owens.

He claimed that his previous order was based on his former NFL paycheck. He was seeking a reduction in his child support order to bring it more in line with his current income.

The judge seems to have agreed with Owens’ arguments and “drastically decreased the amount he was paying”. Owens was originally ordered to pay between $5000 and $20,000 per child per month. Having no current football contract, forking out that much was “nearly impossible” according to Owens.

While the new child support order is sealed, sources state that it’s more affordable and “accurately reflects the amount of money [Terrell] is making”. In addition to the child support change, Owens was also awarded visitation in some of the cases. This is something he hasn’t requested before now.

The source insists that, “Terrell is in a good place and this is the best way to start off the new year.”
