Terrell Owens: Two-week marriage fizzles, his real agenda exposed

Terrell Owens and Rachel Snider's two-week marriage has just fizzled out. Apparently Owens' new wife smelled a rat when he allegedly used her to get a $2 million loan to buy a home in Sherman Oaks, Calif. TMZ Sports published a report on Feb. 7 that Snider wants a divorce immediately from the man she believed was the love of her life.

"I felt in love ... and now I feel betrayed and heartbroken," Snider said.

It is not as though Terrell Owens and Rachel Snider just met, either. They knew each other for 5 years.

"I really valued his love and friendship for 5 years. Out of the love in my heart, I tried to help him. We had a secret relationship for 5 years and I married him for love," Snider added.

The two-week marriage began on January 23. The pair got married at a private courthouse ceremony in Newhall, Calif.

If Snider figured out the NFL player married her for other reasons than for love, it is a good thing she chose not tolerate being in a bad marriage another minute longer. No further details were elaborated upon why a $2 million loan raised such a red flag, but no doubt more will emerge in this story over the next few days. Terrell Owens has dealt with his share of turmoil the past few years with his career and financial crisis. News of this two-week marriage just added to that list of problems he faces.
