Terrell Owens 2 week marriage to end in divorce: Wife says he wanted her money

Terrell Owens, the former NFL wide receiver, recently married and it lasted only two weeks before his new wife filed for divorce. Owens' bride came to the conclusion that he married her to gain access to her money. Rachel Snider married Owens, who she thought was the love of her life, but when he used her to acquire a $2 million mortgage, the red flags went up for her, according to The Inquisitr on Feb. 7.

Owens and Snider were married in a private ceremony at a Newhall, California courthouse on Jan. 23. The honeymoon lasted just two weeks as Snider now sees Owens as someone more interested in her back account than in her.

Snider is hurt, but she has this divorce in high-gear, doing anything possible to expedite the proceedings. She said:

“I felt in love… and now I feel betrayed and heartbroken. I really valued his love and friendship for 5 years. Out of the love in my heart, I tried to help him. We had a secret relationship for 5 years and I married him for love.”

Owens' financial woes have been anything but secret in the last few years, so Snider must have had some idea that he was in a bind. This is a man who earned more than $80 million over his professional career in the NFL. Apparently he has made some bad decisions when it comes to money.

As far as Snider is concerned she is not willing to let him make those same bad decision with her money. Hopefully there's a prenuptial agreement with Owens, if not she could have a bit of a bumpy ride.
