"Terraria" is coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in the next couple of months. 505 Games released a new trailer Wednesday to show some of the unique content that will be part of the console version of the PC indie action-adventure sandbox hybrid.
505 Games is skipping the quick and simple port of "Terraria" by adding split-screen multiplayer for up to four players, eight player online multiplayer, a tutorial, a world map, new controls, armor, ultimate weapons, music, enemies, pets and a final boss.

Re-Logic was the original developer of "Terraria" and is responsible for the PC version that was released to Steam. There has been some controversy generated over the the lack of updates to the "Terraria" on the PC but 505 Games does not have the rights to update it.
An official release date for "Terraria" on the PS3 and Xbox 360 has not been announced yet but it is expected in late February or early March via the Playstation Network and Xbox LIVE.
