The Golf Club at Creekmoor in Raymore, Mo. hosted the State Line Amateur Tour on Tuesday Aug. 20. Creekmoor is a par 72 championship course with Zoysia fairways and 65 bunkers to challenge any level of play.
In the Open Division Gross Scoring Mark Terranova shot an even par 72 to take first place. Three players Brent Mertz, Ben David Kimminau and Michael Greene fell one shot short to tie for second. Jason Cross finished at one over par in the net scoring sending Terranova to second at two over par. Third place resulted in a three way tie between Trevor Taylor, Kimminau and Mertz at three over par.
Ritch Nigh shot a one under par 71 in the Players Division Gross Scoring to finish in first place. Second place resulted in a tie between Jason Johnson and Todd Downey, with a one over par 73. Net scoring resulted in a three way tie for first between Downey, Nigh and Brandon Blum, all with adjusted scores of two under par 70.
The Senior Division Gross Scoring ended with David Hamilton shooting an even par round of 72. Second place went to Pet Robbins, one shot back at 73 and two shot back third place finisher Chuck Admire posted a 74. Hamilton remained in first place in net scoring with an adjusted score of two under par 70. Robbins remained in second at one under par and Admire held third at one over par.
Play on Tuesday in the Legends Division Gross Scoring resulted in a three way tie. Jack Garvin, Gary Noble and Fran Ferns all shot a one over par 73 to finish in first place. Steve Frisbie took first place in net scoring with a seven under par 65. Ferns posted an adjusted score of 66 and Noble took third with a 67.
