'Terra Nova' star signs on for 'In Plain Sight' role

Someone from the "Terra Nova" universe is branching out -- but this may not necessarily mean that they are going to be leaving the show or that it is getting canceled.

According to a new report from TV Guide, Stephen Lang has signed on to appear in a three-episode arc on "In Plain Sight's" final season as the father of Mary McCormick's characters -- someone who has been referenced on a number of occasions throughout the show.

This arc does not necessarily impede on production for season 2 of "Terra" -- mainly since we don't even know as of yet if the show is coming back. Considering the series' large budget, we are currnetly calling it a long shot.
