Teresa Giudice has promised to help the NephCure Foundation by giving it the proceeds from her book sales. On March 26, the official Twitter account of the star revealed that her controversial recent book signing would have a positive ending. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star has helped this foundation in the past by raising money.
Giudice insisted that guests pay cash-only at her recent book signing, and this raised many questions about her bookkeeping because of the fraud trial she faces. Her refusal to accept other forms of payment was noticed by the people who attended the event. However, the reality TV star has announced that all of the money from the event will go to the NephCure Foundation. It focuses on focal segmental glomerulosclerosis and nephrotic syndrome, and it is an official 501 (c)(3) public charity.
Giudice has helped the NephCure Foundation in the past by attending events and raising money for the cause. She attended a cycling event in Roslyn Heights and donated $60,000 from her appearance on another television show. The housewife credits her interest in the foundation to meeting a little boy who is suffering from focal segmental glomerulosclerosis and nephrotic syndrome. She has continued to attend fundraisers and events to support the foundation while dealing with other issues. In the past, Giudice has stated she wants to help researchers find a cure for the kidney disease.
