Teresa Giudice will continue with 'RHONJ,' despite guilty plea

Teresa Giudice is facing two years behind bars after pleading guilty to four counts of fraud on Tuesday morning. However, according to a new report, the plea won't affect her role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Sources close to the production of the Bravo series have revealed to TMZ, on March 4, that Teresa and Joe, who faces nearly five years behind bars, are currently filming the sixth season of the hit series and have taped plenty of scenes regarding the trial for the upcoming installment.

Although production is set to wrap prior to the Giudice's July sentencing, producers are reportedly "going at warp speed" to get everything they can of the Giudices before they potentially begin their jail sentence.

The one concerning topic regarding the season is the reunion special. Since that is shot many months after the season begins airing, the Giudices could very well be behind bars. And if that is the case, they would likely not be able to shoot anything for the special.

Either way, remaining on the show is certainly an ideal situation for Teresa, who used the show as her main source of income, and as a way to promote her other business ventures including her hair products, books, and wines.
