Teresa Giudice is skipping out on cast events.
While many of her co-stars are traveling in an effort to get the word out about season six of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Giudice is keeping her distance from press -- reportedly because her crisis manager has advised her to do so. Unfortunately, Bravo doesn't quite understand why Giudice isn't participating.
“It’s very frustrating for Bravo . . . They tried to tell Teresa that she was contractually obligated to show but her legal crisis manager, Wendy Feldman, shut that down," a source revealed to Radar Online on July 9. "Teresa’s contract is actually very loose, and doesn’t clearly dictate what media she must do.”
Last July, Giudice and her husband, Joe, were accused of several shady business dealings and in March, the couple plead guilty. While they were supposed to have gotten their sentencing on Tuesday, their trial was postponed until a later date.
In the meantime, Giudice is spending time with her family -- even her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. According to a second report by Radar Online, Giudice and Gorga were said to have put their past drama behind them and be moving forward with a more productive and friendly relationship -- much different than fans saw during season five.
“Teresa doesn’t want to talk about the upcoming sentencing because she is afraid of doing anything that would negatively impact the proceedings,” the source continued. “It’s a delicate balance, and Teresa is relying on the guidance of Wendy, much to Bravo’s dismay.”
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" season six premieres on July 13 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
