Teresa and Joe Giudice could see their trial date change because they have allegedly asked for it to happen sooner. Wetpaint reports on Feb. 17 that their lawyers want the pretrial hearing to be moved up because the couple would prefer to have separate trials.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star has an official court date for April, but this could change if the judge grants the lawyers’ requests. Although Teresa and Joe have wanted separate trials for a while, there is no guarantee their idea will be accepted. They face 41 charges of fraud with the possibility of long prison sentences that could separate them from their children.
The Giudice family has been at the center of several rumors recently, and Teresa allegedly considered leaving Joe over various problems including the fraud trial and cheating gossip. Despite these rumors, the couple appears to be happy on the surface and continues to pose for smiling photos on Twitter. Teresa has given no indication that she is separating from Joe and has not discussed the cheating allegations that have swirled around him.
Meanwhile, Teresa’s relationship with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga is still positive, and she appears to be getting support from her family during this difficult time. Gorga claims they are doing well despite their previous problems, and the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” drama that fans have seen between the two women seems to have faded.
