Teresa Giudice’s house arrest may not be shown on ‘RHONJ’

Teresa Giuidce has worked out a plea deal that has given her a two year prison term, but “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” co-star wants to serve the sentence on house arrest in the Paterson, N.J. mansion her husband Joe Giudice had built for their family.

But prosecutors in the Giudice case will more than likely ask the judge in the case to disallow filming of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” in Teresa’s home according to a March 5 report by Radar Online. Joe Giudice has not owned a business or had known gainful employment for a few years. Teresa in the sole support for her husband and four daughters and in order to keep supporting her family will want to film “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” as long as possible. This would include filming the New York Times best-seller’s house arrest on fraud charges.

Law enforcement officials want to block Teresa’s filming during her house arrest because they feel that it would portray a prison sentence as glamorous and fun and “officials don’t want to look like it is.”
