Despite the fact that Melissa Gorga said that things were going nicely in the currently shooting fifth season of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," a source told Radar Online on Jan. 31 that Teresa Giudice is prepared to have some "epic battles" with her family this upcoming season.
This completely flies in the face of Melissa's comments that the season should remain drama free.
The first hints that things were not as peaceful and quiet as Melissa said appeared last week when Joe Gorga showed up at Kim D's jewelry party and headed straight towards his sister. The two began a major fight with each other, and it was evident that even if Melissa was ready to move on, Teresa's brother was not.
The camera crews and production team convinced Teresa not to leave, because they needed drama for the show. Sources say Joe won't even speak to his sister without the camera running.
The source told Radar Online that Teresa felt she was ganged up on last year and was the victim. This all led to the season finale where Teresa tried to allegedly setup Melissa by having a man approach her and accuse her of being a former stripper. Things broke down and Joe launched into his sister at that time.
This was all a culmination of a season-long war between Teresa Giudice and all the other cast members. With all the talk of peace in season five, things looked to be a letdown. However, if Teresa is ready to get dirty again, "Real Housewives of New Jersey" will once again be must-see-TV.
