As the three new housewives, Teresa Aprea, Amber Marchese and Nicole Napolitano, rake in just $60,000 for the season and Melissa Gorga pulls $250,000, Giudice sits at the top with a reportedly salary of $700,000. Unfortunately, with all of her and Joe Giudice's legal bills, it isn't adding up in the way that most would think.
Giudice is “pulling down a whopping $700,000 for Season Six,” a source confirmed to Radar Online on July 17. “Despite that huge paycheck, most of that money is going to pay for Joe and Teresa’s legal fees. There will also be expected fines assessed to the couple when they are finally sentenced in September, and Teresa has been told that could be up to $250,000.”
Giudice and her husband were indicted on 39-counts of fraud last July and plead guilty to many of them in March of this year. Now, she and Joe are awaiting their Sept. 2014 sentencing (The Giudices were originally expected to be sentenced earlier this month, the date was postponed).
When they go to court, Giudice and her husband will face years behind bars for their allegedly fraudulent business dealings over the last several years.
“The family has hardly any other income coming in, and everyone knows that Teresa has been the sole breadwinner for some time,” the source added. “The problem is that Teresa hasn’t scaled back on shopping sprees, especially for their daughters.”
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" season six airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
