Teresa Giudice hasn't commented about the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and she is expected to be a major part of the show. As there are dates slated for other reality shows for the fall, it seems that Bravo has not decided when this series will start. Well, apparently there is a good reason for dragging out the decision. According to Buddy TV on Friday, there can’t be any interviews until the sentencing portion of Teresa Giudice’s trial has been finished. That date is July 8, 2014.
Perhaps Teresa Giudice is worried the legal team of the government will use her words against her. Or maybe she is limiting what the judge in the case might hear from the mainstream media, but the decision to wait is throwing a wrench into the Bravo publicity of the upcoming show. With the sentencing for her fraud case pending, anything could happen and it is possible that Teresa is immediately taken into custody leaving no interviews for the show at all.
Even Perez Hilton on Friday suggested that the wait of finding out when the reality series will be airing is tough for the viewers. People usually get the chance to line up their fall (and summer) programming early. As the viewers don’t know what might be on the show, they could find their interest pulled away to another program.
What is Teresa Giudice expecting to hear from the judge on the sentencing day? Teresa could be looking at 21 to 27 months in jail. However she is still holding out hope for house arrest because she has a family. Joe might not be so lucky with a possibility of 37 to 46 months in jail and further legal issues.
Fans will need to wait until the middle of July to find out what Bravo decides on an airing date of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” It’s amazing just how much power that Teresa Giudice has at the moment and she is the one currently in court.
