While Teresa Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga apparently patched things up while filming season six of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," it seems that the same can't be said for Teresa and her cousin Kathy Wakile. In a sneak peek of the upcoming season, as seen in an E! News article posted on Wednesday, May 14, Teresa is shown calling Kathy a 'b***h.'
One scene shows the housewives in what looks to be a party celebrating Kathy's desserts. One of the new housewives holds up a cannoli, presumably one from Kathy's own cannoli line, to eat. Teresa lets her know what she thinks of Kathy's product. "You better get that cannoli out of my face. I'm serious," she says, before taking it and throwing it in a pan full of meat. "How do you spell 'b***h'? K-A-T-H-Y," Teresa says in her talking head interview.
After starring in the show for two seasons, Kathy is returning to season six only as a recurring housewife. Her sister, Rosie Pierri, will also show up in the season from time to time. In previous seasons, Teresa and Kathy have had a tenuous relationship, with Kathy often feeling dismissed by Teresa and Teresa feeling as if Kathy is a backstabber. On Monday, May 12, Kathy seemed to allude to her demotion and her lack of hard feelings about it by posting a quote on Instagram that states, "People who shine from within don't need the spotlight."
While Kathy Wakile remains in season six as a recurring housewife, her allies Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita are gone. Caroline and her family are now starring in their own spin-off, titled "Manzo'd With Children," which is set to premiere later this year. Jacqueline will reportedly be seen on that show instead.
Replacing Caroline and Jacqueline on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" are Dina Manzo, who starred in the show for the first two seasons, Amber Marchese, and twins Nicole Mauriello and Teresa Aprea (nee Napolitano). The only housewives from season five to return as starring housewives are Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.
