Teresa and Joe Giudice are both facing serious time behind bars following Tuesday's guilty plea.

Teresa is facing 21 to 27 months behind bars for her crimes, and her husband Joe is facing up to 46 months for his. However, when it comes to serving out their possible sentences, which will be made official on July 8 during their hearing, the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple wants to do their times separately for the sake of their daughters.

"[The Giudices] want to serve their prison terms separately so at least one parent can remain with their 4 children while the other is behind bars," TMZ reported on March 5.

Joe Giudice's attorney, Miles Feinstein, spoke to TMZ, stating that the couple plans to ask the judge to stagger their sentences with one serving their time before the other. Feinstein is confident the judge will grant the request and notes that the particular judge has done so in other cases.

Meanwhile, Teresa's attorney claims he and Teresa are aiming for probation as opposed to a jail sentence.

There have also been discussions of a possible house arrest for Teresa. That would allow her to remain at home with her daughters, ensuring they are cared for, while maintaining her businesses and continuing to film The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
