Teresa Giudice, the face of Fabellini Wine and author of several best-selling cookbooks, has said that husband Joe Giudice wants a son, and demands that Teresa use a surrogate to give him one, because “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 40, refuses to get pregnant again, In Touch reported exclusively on Feb. 6.
In Touch alleges that Teresa told them exclusively that, “Joe really wants a boy. And he said we should get a surrogate to carry it!”
A “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” insider said, “He [Joe Giudice] is really pressuring her. If that’s what he wants, she may give in.”
Another insider says that Teresa, who has publicly stated that she is done having children, has been “eager” for a son in the past, especially after sister-in-law Melissa Gorga had her first son. “After her brother’s [Joe Gorga] wife had Gino, Teresa was dying for a boy, too.”
In 2009, the Giudices underwent in vitro fertilization in their attempt to add a boy to their brood of three daughters, Gia, Gabriella and Milania. Instead, Teresa and Joe had another daughter, Audriana, now three-years-old.
“Teresa’s happy with her family the way it is; she loves her four girls,” a source close to Teresa told In Touch. If the Giudices do decide to use a surrogate, Teresa already has a name picked out for a boy. “Franco, after my father-in-law,” Teresa said.
However, on Feb. 7, Wetpaint.com reported that they “caught up” with Teresa at Cuffs by Kim D Fashion Showing sponsored by Giudice’s Fabellini Wine, and Teresa told Wetpaint that she is considering having her tubes tied, and that “It’s not happening! This shop is closed!”
